Lazy man's guide to Card Counting
You can actually utilize card counting on a more casual basis without actually keeping a running card count. To do this, simply keep your eyes open as the cards are dealt noting when an unusually high number of 10-value cards have been dealt or when an unusually high number of little cards (2, 3, 4, 5 and 6) have been dealt. When there has been an unusually high number of small cards dealt, the deck is relatively favourable and you should increase your bets accordingly. When an unusually high number of 10-value cards has been dealt, the deck is relatively unfavourable and you should decrease the amounts of your wagers. The key in using the Lazy Man's Guide is to look for extreme situations. If you notice that during the past 3 hands, 60 percent of the cards have been 10-value cards, you know the deck is depleted of these favourable cards and you should lower your bet.
